We’re excited to be hosting our favorite event of the year on March 28 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark-Fremont. If you purchased an elimination raffle ticket this year, you are entitled to two complimentary tickets to our celebration dinner and auction. Niles Rotary’s “Feed the Hungry”
Niles Rotary has a tradition of community service in the Tri City area for more than 78 years, including Feed the Hungry at Centerville Free Dining Room in Fremont since 1992.
“Whether the Niles Rotarian decides to help in the kitchen, serve food in the dining room, manage the welcome table greeting and taking down needed statistics, inviting in those taking comfort in a warm and healthy meal and directing diners to their tables, or some other needed task to help this monthly volunteer service run efficiently- we all share one thing in common, GRATITUDE.” …Sherry Higgs
On Thursday, June 30, 2016 wearing their new red or blue Niles Rotary shirts, Niles Rotarians served 126 free meatloaf dinners, with help from Past Presidents Chuck Canada and Sandi Pantages.
Volunteers also participate by donating canned food, and travel size sundries.
Join Niles Rotarians at Centerville Free Dining Room, 4360 Central Avenue, Fremont, on the next 5th Thursday, September 29, 2016 to set up from 2:00-4:00pm or to serve meals 3:45-6:00pm. This event takes place every 5th Thursday of any month there is a 5th Thursday throughout the year.
